Best Party DJ'ed: Technique, Leeds , UK .  This was one of my most important gigs and I consider it a milestone in my career.  It was

the first time I played with Adam Freeland, who is someone I have great respect for and have come to consider a mentor. He had never heard me play live before and I was so freaking nervous I couldn't even eat. I kept thinking, "You can't screw up". Sounds silly, but I had to impress him. From the feedback I got and glancing over to catch Adam dancing to my set, I think I did just that.

One Record That Never Leaves Your Box:

Chris Coco- Albatross ( Christian J Remix)- Distinctive

Favorite Musical Artist: Tori Amos

How'd you get into DJ'ing: I started clubbing/ raving in college and fell in love with the culture and obviously the music.  I've been dancing (ballet and jazz) since I was four and have been dancing professionally for many years so, needless to say, I love performing.  I see DJ'ing as another avenue for me to express myself, get closer to the music that moves me, and do what I do...perform.

How'd you get into Breakbeat: I was drawn to breaks even before I knew what it is called and what all the different genres are. I feel that it's the most rhythmic of styles to me and allows for the most freedom of movement and interpretation.

On the scene in N.Y.:   Everything is hurting now. Plus, the Rave Act has passed, and we're all scared and pulling back. No one is willing to take chances or risky investments and NYC is no different from any other city in this country.  P.S. Call or write your state representative to protest the Rave Act.

Advice to those just starting out: Do what you love, and the rest will

all fall into place.

On the benefits of being the U.S. label rep for Marine Parade: It's a honor to be associated with Marine Parade.  Not many people are aware of it, because I haven't released anything on MP (not yet), but when they find out it certainly raises a lot of eyebrows and interest.
